"It seems like we either break or win this year, there's no in between."
July 30, 2005
Vernon, BC - PowerWater driver, Kerry Micks finished a disappointing 25th position
in the Micks Motorsports 2005 Ford at the half-mile tri-oval at Sun Valley Motor
Speedway in Vernon, British Columbia Saturday as part of the CASCAR Super Series.
"It seems like we either break or win this year, there's no in between," explained
Kerry Micks. "Bad luck went our way again tonight at Sun Valley Motor Speedway in
the PowerWater Ford."
DJ Kennington won the Sun Valley Motor Speedway 300 lap event followed by Brad
Graham in second and Don Thomson Jr. in third.
"After starting thirteenth we were running a solid top-ten when we broke a rear end
in the car. The Micks Motorsport Team did a great job fixing the car, but it was
too little to late by the time we got back out," added the Mt. Albert, ON, driver.
Micks, with three wins this season in the PowerWater Micks Motorsports Ford, sits in
fourth position in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.
The next CASCAR Super Series race of the season will take place Saturday, August 6
