WHAT
The 358-Modified Super DIRT Series races every night this week and points are on the
line Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Super DIRT Week opens with a 100-lap
satellite event at Can-Am Motorsports Park on Wednesday (Oct. 5). The 100-lap
satellite events continue Thursday at Brewerton (NY) Speedway and then Friday at
Rolling Wheels Raceway (Elbridge, NY). Saturday, the tour races the annual ITT
Industries-Goulds Pumps 'Salute to the Troops' 150-lapper at the famed Syracuse
Mile.
WHEN
Wednesday night, the 358’s will roll into Can-Am in LaFargeville, NY at 7:30 pm. On
Thursday, the tour continues its CNY sweep Thursday at the Brewerton Speedway at
7:30; the tour’s Rolling Wheels finale goes off at 7 pm.
At the New York State Fairgrounds, the ITT Industries-Goulds Pumps 'Salute to the
Troops' 358-Mod 150-lap championship will start at 1:30 pm.
TIMES & TICKETS
Wednesday, the gates for the 358-Mod SDS event at Can-Am open at 5:30pm with time
trials taking place at 6:45. Heat racing will begin promptly at 7:30. Adult General
Admission is $20 while pit prices will be $25 for Members and $30 for Non-Members.
Brewerton Speedway’s gates will open Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Racing will start at 7:30
p.m. Adult admission is $20, with ages 10-14 priced at $10. Children nine years of
age and under will be admitted free of charge. There are no pre-sale of tickets. All
seats are general admission seating with the exception of season reserved seats
which are painted orange. No blankets will be allowed down until gates open.
At Rolling Wheels pit gates will open at 4:30pm, grandstands at 5 o'clock with
small-block time trials slated to start at 7 pm and qualifying heats to follow.
Adult general admission are $20 ($22 Reserved), Seniors $18 (60 yrs-plus) and
Students $10 (11-18 yrs.). Pit passes are $20 for members and $28 for non-members.
At Super DIRT Week, tickets for Saturday’s 358-Modified Championship will be sold
for $35 (first level) and $40 for second/third level seats. A combined ticket, good
for general admission access both Saturday and Sunday is $50. Combined reserved
first level seating is $85 while combined second/third level seating is $95.
