All-time Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series winner Brett Hearn continued to add
to the record as he dominated the 30th Annual Hyundai 100 on Monday night at
Autodrome Drummond. Hearn's tour best third victory of the season gave him his first
points lead of the summer, one that Tim Fuller (7th) had held since the beginning of
June.
Super DIRT Week Rite Aid 200 Championship preferred starter Steve Paine slipped
under Danny Johnson on the final lap to secure second-place while the race's only
other leader Frank Cozze and Gary Tomkins rounded out the front-five.
Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series action comes back stateside to open the new
month as Brewerton Speedway hosts the 'Fernandez Auto Mall 100' on Friday, August 3.
The 100-lap main event at the D-Shaped DIRT Demon pays out $6,000 to the winner plus
offers valuable points towards the overall Hoosier-Sunoco Mr. DIRTcar Championship
for Big-Block Modifieds.plus a guaranteed starting spot in the recently renamed Rite
Aid 200 at Syracuse during Super DIRT Week XXXVI on Oct. 7.
