The Canadian Vintage Modifieds held a 60th reunion on March 7 at the Hamilton Air Force Association in Dundas. Many people were in attendance, including racers, crew and fans from the earliest days of the club. They also inducted new members into the Canadian Vintage Modified Hall of Fame: Bev Thring, Dave Trendell, Phil Shaw, Bob Kurtin (Carol), Bill Grisdale, Brock Laking and Steve Laking. Everyone enjoyed a generous pot luck meal provided by the club's members. Thanks to all that put on this event. My first race and memories of this club are from before it was officially a club - 1964.
